Just days after his shock departure from Real Madrid, Zinedine Zidane has reportedly received a whopping £176 million offer that would see him earn about £120 000 a day.
The Frenchman announced his surprise departure from Los Blancos on Thursday, saying he wanted to leave “when everything was going well” rather than in a bad moment.
Many reports suggested that Zidane would take some sort of sabbatical after lifting nine trophies with Los Blancos in just two and a half years.
However, Egyptian billionaire Naguib Sawiris has claimed that “Zizou” will be offered a four-year deal by the Qatar Football Association. Qatar reportedly want Zidane to prepare their team for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in their country, and are ready to pay the Frenchman £120 000 a day (R2 million) over four years, accorrding to talkSPORT.
Overall, the former Real boss could pocket a whopping £176 million (R2.98 billion) between 2018 and 2022, but it remains to be seen whether or not he decides to take up the crazy offer.
