Man arrested for eating KFC for free for 2 years
KZN man will appear in court for defrauding KFC employees around Durban into thinking he was sent from KFC headquarters to taste food for quality assurance.
He was so convincing that it took them two years to realise they were being robbed, He had a name card from “head office” and dress very smart.
Reports revealed that his friend a part-time limo driver was also an accomplice
“When he arrived we will all try to act our best so that we don’t piss off man from head office, he was so convincing because he was so confident and even colleagues from other KFC’s knows him”
“When he comes in he rushed to the kitchen and check everything taking notes and then ask for samples of whatever he wants. He probably worked for KFC before because he knows everything.”
Police confirmed that a case of fraud was opened and the student was arrested.
Armed robbery at KFC outlet in PE
Police in Port Elizabeth are investigating an armed robbery at a KFC outlet in the city on Monday.
Police Spokesperson Captain Johan Rheeder says four armed men stormed into the KFC at 17th quarter in Walmer shortly after 7 am.
The men demanded cash and also stole cell phones before fleeing the scene.
It is not clear how much money was stolen.
No arrests have been made.
Rheeder says nobody was injured in the robbery and no shots were fired.
