Duduzile Zuma-Sambudla hinting to join Jimmy Manyi in EFF

African National Congress former President Jacob Zuma’s favourite child Duduzile Zuma-Sambudla has alluded to joining the EFF after Mzwanele Manyi was confirmed as a Member of Parliament.

Along with a member of the kwaito group Trompies Eugene Mthethwa, Nqobile Mhlongo, and Mandla Shikwambana, Manyi was sworn in as an EFF MP in parliament on Wednesday.

Zuma-Sambudla implied that she would soon join Manyi, saying that she was excited to see how the EFF would change South Africa.

She pleaded, “Please keep my seat warm there next to you.”

“Honorable Mzwanele Manyi… I am so glad for you and excited to see how you will improve our people’s lives. I understand your heart and the love you have for Africa and South Africa. Keep fighting, fighter.

Mthethwa was also congratulated by Zuma-Sambudla, who said: Your duty is crystal clear. Serve the people of South Africa, but most of all, help our artists. I am aware that you have always had a great passion for artists ever since I first met you more than a decade ago. Now you are their voice.

Julius Malema, the leader of the EFF, has previously urged Zuma to join his party.

Malema expressed his hope that Zuma would join the “home of rehabilitation” during the EFF’s 10th anniversary celebrations in the Western Cape.

We are not surprised by Manyi’s decision to join the EFF because we are confident that the numbers are increasing. Malema stated, “It is the only organization that a black self-respecting and caring person will join.”

“He is very welcome in the EFF and we trust soon we will welcome [former] president Zuma into the EFF. It is a rehabilitation residence. They are more than happy to receive anyone who wishes to visit.”
