PETROL PRICE UNCHANGED, DIESEL & PARAFFIN COSTS TO RISE

Diesel will go up by between 47 cents and 50 cents per litre and illuminating paraffin will go up by 37 cents.

The wholesale price of paraffin goes up by 28 cents a litre.

LP gas goes down by 61 cents a kilogram.

The department’s Robert Maake said: “The main reason for this adjustment is the higher crude oil prices during the period under review, and also the price differential between diesel and petrol mainly because of the northern hemisphere when they are going into their winter season.”
